After the menu was decided, I took action. I came to the vegetable market. There are so many people here that my eyes are wasted. But I must remember my mother's words. I must buy fresh vegetables and shop around. I turned around and asked about the price everywhere, just like my mother usually buys food. I won't pay until I see good and cheap food.
First of all, I bought white shrimp and yellow croaker in the seafood market, and those lovely shrimps are still alive and kicking there. I went to the place where crabs were sold again, and I was really scared to watch crabs crawling in the water. The aunt who sells crabs has been shouting and reaching out to help me catch crabs. I can't let her underestimate me. I pretended to be an expert on purpose, imitated the way she caught crabs, and got up the courage to catch them. I remember my mother said: crabs can only be eaten if they are fat, so they should be heavy. Fortunately, the crab's big pliers are all tied with rubber gold, but I am still caught in the small pliers. I'm not afraid. I carefully selected a few, and my aunt, who sells vegetables, praised me as a capable and brave boy.
After buying seafood, I bought ribs and white radish. I came home with a full load, and my mother waited anxiously for me to cook. She opened the food I bought. I really can't believe that I can pick crabs, and besides, I can pick them so well. My mother's eyes are red. She said, "How did my daughter grow up at once?" It turned out that my mother cried happily and scared me.
I think I can do many things well, but my parents don't believe in my ability.
Today, I experienced how difficult it is to buy food. Mom has to buy food and go to work every day. Therefore, as long as I can do anything, I will help my parents bear it.
