Realistic performance of college students' internship
Xunku University Student Forum Reply:

I hope the following three different internship cases can inspire the students who are preparing for the internship.

First of all, the internship has increased my chances of finding a job.

Personal assistant of a fortune 500 company. My major is business management. In the summer vacation of my junior year, I didn't go to a tutor company to do a project, so I decided to find my own internship unit.

Later, I saw a Fortune 500 company recruiting interns on the Internet, so I tried it, but I didn't expect to be accepted.

My position is assistant manager. In the past three weeks, I have been trying to adapt to my new role and do everything well. During my internship, I learned to print, copy, fax, book air tickets and hotels for the first time. For me, every internship starts with small things seriously. Of course, I can't wait for opportunities all the time, but many times, even if there is no better job opportunity, I will maintain good relations with some people in every company. I haven't thought about whether these relationships can be used in the future, but I believe it's always good to know more people and gain more goodwill from them.

Sure enough, after the internship, many colleagues in the company recommended me to some of their client companies, and I myself received interview notices from many big companies. Finally, I chose the company recommended by my colleagues to engage in my major. HR of the company said that they decided to hire me after hearing that I was serious and practical.

Comments: Choosing 500 powerful companies for internships can really add a lot of color to your future employment. It is not difficult to see from the successful examples around you. In the process of work, sometimes it doesn't depend on the size of what you do, such as helping other colleagues get faxes or answer phones, booking hotels and so on. These will temper your will and allow you to get close to the old employees of the company. Although sometimes you may not stay in this company in the end, maybe they will lend a helping hand and recommend you a job. It is every college student's dream to be an intern in a favorite company. Being an intern in a company does not mean that you will eventually work in this company. The key is what this internship experience can bring you.

Second, the internship experience has become my springboard.

After the Spring Festival, I went to a famous partner law firm in Pudong as an intern after being introduced by a friend.

Simple and boring work is so urgent for me. It is impossible for interns to take cases or meet clients alone in a law firm. Are doing behind-the-scenes support work

I studied the legal provisions from the beginning. A case came, I read it first, then put forward my personal opinion to the boss, and then find out the relevant legal provisions that may be involved in this case. Part of the job is to proofread the translated contract text, which is boring but tests whether you are careful.

Although this kind of work can't meet the "sense of accomplishment" I expected originally, internship is a learning process. I think what attitude is very important for what kind of internship effect.

I don't agree that some students go back and forth in big companies to get "resume experience capital", which is only superficial, and the attitude towards work is not achieved overnight, not just an idea in their minds, but also needs to persist in the actual work process, and the process of persistence will be fruitful.

Every day I arrive earlier than my boss and leave later than him. Later, I participated in an international arbitration case, and the working process was very exciting. I read the information about how tall a person is, sorted it out and bound it. I stayed up late the first night since my internship and went to court with my boss the next day. Almost all the legal provisions I found in court were used, and my boss praised me greatly.

At the end of the internship, this law firm wanted to hire me, and a better company also sent me an OFFER, officially hiring me as the company's legal adviser. After weighing the pros and cons, I chose my current company.

Comments: Internship is a ladder for college students to go to society. If the internship is good, the opportunity will come to you at any time. You should know that no matter what employers, they need a modest, cautious, diligent and enterprising employee. And if you are a pleasure-seeking person, even if the opportunity comes, you won't notice it.

I worked hard and took the internship seriously, and finally stayed in the internship unit. In real life, some students think that they will not stay in the internship unit, so they treat the internship work perfunctory and the work arranged by the leaders cannot be completed. It is conceivable how they will face all kinds of setbacks in life when they finally go to work.

Graduated, still an intern.

I have been an intern in this company since my senior year, working as a company clerk. I will draft a copy for my boss, I will attend every meeting, and then organize the meeting materials into documents. Sometimes you have to dedicate your plan to the company's activities, not only creative but also pay attention to feasibility.

Of course, at the beginning of my job, I had an intern teacher who took me specially, and I helped him finish the work he couldn't finish. It wasn't long before the teacher jumped ship, so his job fell on my shoulders. I really want to stay in this company, so I have been staying in this company since graduation, but I have been an intern.

Last year, department leaders occasionally mentioned signing a labor contract with me immediately, and now they have no clue. It is said that in the past two years, the company's performance has declined, and several people have been laid off. Whether I can be hired has become a castle in the air, which makes me very anxious. I am at a loss to see that all my classmates around me have found formal jobs. I really don't know whether to stay in my present company or find another job.

I always comfort myself that maybe the company will sign a contract with me soon and I will get paid soon.

Expert comment: As an intern, you should try your best to get the employment of a company you yearn for. However, we should also be alert to whether some employers infringe on our own rights and interests.

Before graduation, as students, we can't enjoy the protection of labor law, but once we graduate, we should know how to protect ourselves in case some unscrupulous companies regard ourselves as cheap labor.

The first thing to do is not to wait there, but to talk to the boss of the company about his thoughts and confusion and understand why he has not signed the contract so far. Whether the company wants to avoid responsibility or feels that your performance is not enough, it will at least provide reference for your future road choice.
