Yang's husband, Chen Tai, is a native of Harbin. He graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering in Tsinghua University, and then studied in the School of Chemical Engineering of Manchester University. His father is a CPC cadre. Chen Tai worked in Country Garden in his early years, mainly responsible for new business development. Recently, Hong Kong media reported that Mrs. Chen left Country Garden last year to become the general manager of Foshan Shunde Chuangyuan Investment Co., Ltd., and urged Yang Guoqiang to enter the energy business.
