The headquarters of Xiamen University is located at the southern tip of Xiamen Island, No.422 Siming South Road, Siming District, Xiamen City. The school covers an area of about 2,500 mu, with Nanputuo Temple on one side and Hu Lishan Fort on the other. It is known as one of the most beautiful university campuses in China. Xiamen University's early buildings, including Qunxian Building Group, Jiannan Building Group, Furong Building Group and Xiamen University Anthropology Museum, are national key cultural relics protection units and selected as "the first batch of China 20th century architectural heritages".
Xiamen University has a catering service center of Xiamen University Logistics Group, which specializes in catering management services and undertakes the daily dining services of teachers and students in this department. School canteens provide free rice, teaching buildings and libraries provide free purified water, dormitory parks provide free boiled water, and washing machines. Only the third floor of Furong Restaurant and Cai Clean Room in the school accept cash meals, which provides convenience for tourists.
