The major setting of the college is based on the dominant disciplines of Beijing Jiaotong University. The enrollment majors in 20 10 are: mechanical engineering and automation (high-speed train and numerical control technology), electrical engineering and automation, thermal energy and power engineering (automobile engineering), automation (rail transit control, railway signal), computer science and technology (computer network and application), software engineering, business administration (accounting, financial management) and so on. Students who have completed their studies and passed the examination are awarded the undergraduate diploma of Haibin College of Beijing Jiaotong University; Those who meet the requirements for granting a bachelor's degree will be awarded a bachelor's degree from Haibin College of Beijing Jiaotong University.

In 2008, six majors enrolled 750 students for the first time. In 2009 1 1 professional enrollment 1600 students from 23 provinces and cities. In 20 10, 2400 students were enrolled in 14. Elegant living environment, advanced teaching facilities and teaching concepts, thoughtful service and humanized management have won the recognition of the majority of students and the praise of parents.
The college attaches great importance to the management of teaching order and the improvement of teaching quality. There are more than 30 full and associate professors engaged in the teaching of public basic courses in grade one, and the teaching quality has improved steadily. In the CET-4 in 2009, 48 students from our college/KLOC-0 were selected to take the CET-4, with a one-time pass rate of 82%.
The college pays attention to the development of students' diversified potential. In addition to training students who aim at employment, are excellent in academic performance and are willing and hopeful to continue their studies, they can be sent to the headquarters of Beijing Jiaotong University to study related professional courses in the third year of university, laying a foundation for students to take the postgraduate entrance examination.
The college pays attention to international exchanges and has established international exchange and cooperation relations with some universities in the United States, Britain, Belgium, Argentina and other countries. It provides better conditions for students who are willing and financially capable to broaden their horizons and continue their studies.
