Shanxi Normal University 1958 was founded, formerly Jinnan Normal University, 1964 was reorganized into Shanxi Normal University, and 1984 was renamed Shanxi Normal University. Taiyuan normal University was approved by the Ministry of Education in March 1999, and was formed by the merger of Teachers College of Shanxi University, taiyuan normal College and Shanxi Education College, and was established in 1988, 1958 and 1929 respectively. In 20 13, the school officially became a master's degree awarding unit. In 20 17, the school was formally incorporated into the provincial doctoral project construction unit in Shanxi province. Xinzhou teachers university, formerly known as Xinxian Teachers College, was founded in 1958, and 1978+0 was renamed as xinzhou teachers university.
