1, Nanjing University of Technology was formed by the merger of Nanjing University of Chemical Technology and Nanjing Institute of Architecture and Engineering in May 20001. The predecessor of Nanjing University of Chemical Technology can be traced back to Sanjiang Normal School established by 1902. After the historical periods of Sanjiang Normal University, Liangjiang Normal University, Nanjing Normal University, National Southeast University, National Central University and Nanjing Institute of Technology, Nanjing Institute of Chemical Technology moved out from Nanjing Institute of Technology in 1958, and was renamed Nanjing University of Chemical Technology in 1995. Nanjing Institute of Civil Engineering and Architecture was formerly the experimental department of Tongji Medical Engineering College, which was founded in 19 15. 1933 was renamed Tongji Senior Vocational School, 1950 was renamed Nanjing School of Architecture and Engineering, and in May 1980 was upgraded to Nanjing Institute of Architecture and Engineering.

The newly established Nanjing University of Technology has two postdoctoral research stations, two first-class doctoral degree awarding points, 65,438+09 doctoral degree awarding points in two disciplines, 38 master's degree awarding points and engineering master's degree awarding fields, and nearly 60 undergraduate majors, spanning seven disciplines, including engineering, science, management, economics, literature, law and philosophy.
