Wesleyan University, also translated as Wesleyan University, is located in Middletown, Connecticut, in the northeastern United States. The school was founded by the Methodist Church in Middletown 183 1, and its name comes from john wesley, the founder of the Methodist Church (the school has no connection with the Methodist Church at present).
Wesleyan University is famous for its diverse student groups and inclusive campus culture. It is the liberal arts college with the largest number of applicants each year in the United States. 40% of the students in the school are ethnic minorities and about 9% are international students. The Freeman Scholarship for Asia specially established by the school receives 1 students every year from 1 1 East Asian countries and regions. The selected Freeman scholars enjoy free tuition and miscellaneous fees.
