Jiangxi Normal University, referred to as Jiangxi Normal University for short, was co-founded by the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education. Jiangxi Normal University of Science and Technology is located at No.605, LAM Raymond Avenue, Changbei Economic Development Zone, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province; Hongjiaozhou Campus is located at No.589 Xuefu Avenue, Hongjiaozhou, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. .

3. Time of establishment

Jiangxi Normal University originated from Lushan Bailudong Academy and was founded in 1940. It is a national Chung Cheng University. 1949 changed its name to National Nanchang University; 1953, the part that stayed in Jiangxi was renamed Jiangxi Normal University; 1983 changed its name to Jiangxi Normal University. In April 2003, Jiangxi Financial Workers College merged.

Jiangxi Normal University of Science and Technology, founded in 1952, is one of the first multi-disciplinary undergraduate colleges in China to train vocational education teachers. It is a national "excellent undergraduate teaching school" with the qualification of recruiting and training postdoctoral students, the right to award master's degrees in first-class disciplines and the right to recruit foreign students.
