After weighted equivalence, the original scores of CET-4 and CET-6 are converted into normal scores with an average of 500 and a standard deviation of 70. At the same time, there is no passing line in CET-4 and CET-6.
The certificate of passing the exam was changed into a report card. The individual score report of CET-4 and CET-6 is divided into four parts, namely, listening (20%), reading (40%) and synthesis.
(25%), constituting (15%). The full score of each individual report is: Listening142; Read 284 points; Comprehensive 178; Composition 106. The sum of each individual report is equal to the total score of the report.
The individual report scores of grades 4 and 6 are also normal scores of the norm, but the reference norm is the corresponding individual norm. Therefore, the single score can report the percentage position of candidates in each single module. Examples are as follows:
If the score of a candidate's CET-4 composition report is 62, then its percentage in the norm group is between 77% and 86%, which means that the candidate's English score is at least better than 77% in the norm group, but not better than 86%.
A candidate's CET-6 listening report score is 100, and its percentile in the normal module is 54%, which means that the candidate's English listening score is better than that of the normal module's 54%.
