Our school established the first land management major in China in 65438-0985. The Department of Land Management was established in 1988. The current dean is Professor Ye Jianping.

There are 4 professors, 4 part-time professors, 4 associate professors, 2 lecturers and 5 postdoctoral students in the Department of Land Management, including 7 doctoral supervisors. In-service teachers are all doctors or doctoral students. In 2003, there were 69 undergraduates/kloc-0, 44 master students and 22 doctoral students.

At present, the Department of Land Management has two undergraduate majors: land resource management and engineering management (real estate operation and management), two master majors: land resource management and real estate economics, two MPA majors: urban construction and real estate development and land management, and one doctoral program in land resource management (including real estate operation and management). It can provide perfect teaching and training services from undergraduates to doctoral students, among which the doctoral program in land resource management is one of the first two doctoral programs approved by the Ministry of Education.

The Ministry of Land Management attaches great importance to the training and re-education of teachers, and strives to improve the overall quality of teachers by going abroad, studying in Hong Kong and Taiwan, or pursuing a degree. At the same time, the Department of Land Management also attaches great importance to academic exchanges with foreign countries. At present, it has cooperated with the Royal Institute of Surveyors, Cambridge Institute of International Land Management, American Urban Economics and Real Estate Association, American Real Estate Appraisal Association, Lincoln Land Policy Institute, University of Texas (Arlington), University of California (Berkeley), National University of Singapore, Tel Aviv University, Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, Hong Kong University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Taiwan Province University of Political Science, Feng Jia University of Taiwan Province, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Netherlands and other countries and regions.
