It is located in the campus of Northeast Forestry University, No.26 Hexing Road, nangang district, Harbin, Heilongjiang, China.

According to the inquiry, this site is the first museum with a forest theme in China, with an exhibition area of about 1 1 1,000 square meters. There are nearly 1,000 exhibits, including fossil specimens, plant wax leaf specimens, animal specimens, insect specimens, rock specimens, cultural relics and other precious objects, including silicified wood, ancient fish fossils, South China tigers and so on, which have important scientific value and cultural significance.
