There is no major in Chinese studies in Tsinghua University. Tsinghua University's predecessor, Tsinghua Academy, was founded in 19 1 1, and 19 12 was renamed Tsinghua Academy. 1928 changed its name to National Tsinghua University. 1937 after the full-scale outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, it moved south to Changsha and formed the National Changsha Temporary University with Peking University and Nankai University. /kloc-moved to Kunming in 0/938 and changed its name to National Southwest Associated University. /kloc-moved back to Tsinghua campus in 0/946, where there are 5 colleges and 26 departments of literature, law, science, engineering and agriculture.
