Liming Vocational University, founded in 1984, is the first full-time higher vocational college organized by Quanzhou Municipal People's Government. Its predecessor was Liming Senior High School, which was founded in 1929. It has a long history and profound accumulation in running schools. In recent years, the school has seized the opportunity and developed rapidly, and has become a key higher vocational college with moderate scale and guaranteed quality, focusing on applied engineering and foreign trade. The school now has 8 departments and 39 majors, with nearly 8,000 full-time students and 408 full-time teachers.
