Shanxi Normal University was founded in 1958. Over the past 60 years, the school has been adhering to the fine tradition of normal education and deepening the reform of teacher education. Now it has developed into a provincial normal university with a complete training system and distinctive school-running characteristics, and is an important base for the training of basic education teachers in Shanxi Province.
