Southeast University, located in Nanjing, the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, is a world-renowned institution of higher learning. The school is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly established with Jiangsu Province. It is also one of the national key universities of "985 Project" and "2 1 1 Project". 20 17 southeast university was selected as a class a university in the construction of world-class universities.

Southeast University currently has 34 departments, 87 undergraduate majors, 39 first-level discipline authorization points for doctoral degrees and 50 first-level discipline authorization points for master's degrees. Southeast University is a comprehensive research university with engineering as its main feature, covering philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, science, engineering, medicine, management, art, history and other disciplines. The school 12 discipline was selected into the national "double first-class" construction discipline list, ranking eighth in the country.
