The School of Design and Art of Hunan University is one of the top design schools in the world. Founded in 1977, it is one of the earliest design art disciplines in China, one of the first two universities in China to offer industrial design disciplines, and 1, one of the three originators of China design field, has a leading academic position in the domestic industrial design field. The college has a complete talent training system from bachelor's degree, master's degree, doctoral degree to postdoctoral degree, a national experimental teaching demonstration center, and is responsible for the compilation of national industrial design textbooks, the formulation of teaching norms and evaluation regulations.
