University of California at Irvine, also translated as University of California at Irvine, was founded in 1965. It belongs to one of the most comprehensive branches of the University of California, a world-famous institution of higher learning and a world-class research university. It is a member of association of american universities, Pacific Rim University Alliance, International Public University Forum and "Public Ivy League".

The University of California at Irvine is located in Irvine, Orange County, about 50 miles southeast of Los Angeles in southern California.
