0 1 elective course
The hardest hit areas are probably rough, military theory classes and the like. This elective course is generally a public course, and it is also possible that two courses are the same as the above, and the location is usually the lecture hall. Many students will be lucky. If they think there are many people, even if they don't go, they won't call the roll and they won't find themselves.
Secondly, the class itself is relatively watery, and the teachers themselves have problems, such as watching PPT all the time and not interacting with classmates. Some students may go to class because of credit requirements, preferring to sit farther away, and there are almost no people in the front row.
But in the final analysis, only the fledgling teachers can be influenced by "no one listens to the university teachers in class", because this matter is not so much the teacher's regret as the students' own regret.
Because university teachers are all working, there is no inspection of students' attendance. For students, they are learning new knowledge that may be used in society in the future.
02 self-study type
Some people on the Internet ridicule the real meaning of the university that "self-study is a big deal", and some teachers are more cooperative and will not link the usual grades with attendance. They will also specially remind the next class to be focused and must attend. Students themselves don't realize the significance of the courses they study, and the content of a course can't be comprehensive. Students' feedback is often utilitarian, and they only care about exams and grades, without considering other aspects, so they often only need to sprint during the exam week.
03 sensory type
Some students don't want to attend class or sit in the front row, but considering that the teacher may be disappointed, they sang a one-man show to a group of students who didn't look up or respond. Or inadvertently interact with the teacher's eyes and naturally cooperate with the teacher. The advantage of this course is that it has an impression, and if there is no accident, the final score will be outstanding.
Analyze the reasons
(1) In the course arrangement of the whole university, students feel that this course is useless to me, and take an attitude of not listening carefully, which makes teachers passively lose interest in serious teaching and finally disappoint students who want to learn.
(2) Most teachers "don't care whether the students are listening". After all, there is no external evaluation mechanism to motivate him to give lectures well, because in the position of a teacher, his job is to attend classes, assign homework, contact the teaching assistant to approve homework, and then assign final examination papers to control the appropriate failure rate.
To put it simply, attending class on time is the most basic respect, being absent-minded and not playing mobile phone is the respect for teachers. The key is that when you are in class, you must be learning (listening to a class that is worth listening to for yourself, and learning from others in a class that is worth listening to is your own loss) and improving yourself.
Maybe it's a self-absorption idea after graduation and entering the society. I want to tell college students: Don't lower your head to play with your mobile phone, occasionally look up at the teacher, think about the current situation, and think about whether you should sit in this place and whether it is more suitable for you.
