Can I change my major when I am admitted to a university?
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, college students can transfer to qualified majors (departments) after entering the school.

(1) Conditions for applying for changing majors (departments): Before completing the first-year courses and entering the second year, undergraduates who meet one of the following conditions can apply for changing majors: 1, and students who do have a certain specialty. 2. People who can't study in the original major due to health reasons but can still study in other majors in our school; 3. Changing majors can help students study independently, participate in the selection of schools and select qualified students. (2) Those who are under any of the following circumstances cannot apply for a major change: 1, freshmen who have been enrolled for less than one year; Grade 2.2 and above; 3, all kinds of training, advanced students without the consent of the entrusting unit to transfer to the professional; 4, art, sports candidates, cross-cultural, science to major; 5. Cross-college entrance examination admission batches to major; 6. Having gone through the trial reading procedures; 7. I have changed my major or transferred to a scholar; 8. those who are promoted to undergraduate courses. (3) Application time and application procedure for changing majors: 1. Students change their major once every academic year, and the application time is in the last two weeks of the second semester of each academic year. 2. At the end of the second semester of each academic year, according to the conditions of running a professional school, the Academic Affairs Office will announce the acceptance quota of professional transfers to the whole school. 3. In order to maintain the normal teaching order, in principle, after participating in the selection, the number of transfers in each major shall not exceed 3-5% of the enrollment in that year, and the number of transfers shall not exceed 3-5% of the enrollment in that year. 4. Students apply to their college, fill in the application form for changing majors, and submit it to the Academic Affairs Office after examination and approval by the college. 5. After being examined and approved by the Academic Affairs Office and going through the relevant formalities, the applicant (except those who meet the requirements of 1 2) will take the liberal arts and science selection examination organized by the Academic Affairs Office before the start of the first semester of each academic year. Test scores will be sorted by liberal arts and science respectively, and candidates will choose their own majors in turn according to the sorting results.

According to the above regulations, sports students can't change their major. Don't listen to others and delay yourself.
