Medical College of Wuhan University, located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, was founded in 1943. It is the only provincial-level key institution of higher learning in Hubei Province that was founded and developed continuously before the founding of the People's Republic of China. It is also one of the established medical institutions in China (22 medical institutions in the Republic of China).

2. Hubei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Hubei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine is located in Jingzhou, a famous historical and cultural city. It is the first general college of traditional Chinese medicine approved by the Ministry of Education. The management system is jointly established by state administration of traditional chinese medicine, Hubei Provincial Health Department and Jingzhou Municipal People's Government.
The school was formerly a training course for primary health personnel in Jingzhou, and was founded in 1953, and 1965 was renamed Jingzhou District Health School. 1972 was approved by the Ministry of Higher Education as Jingzhou Medical College and renamed as Jingzhou District Health School. In March 2002, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it merged with Hubei Traditional Chinese Medicine School to form Hubei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. ?

Hubei University School of Medicine is located in Shiyan City, Hubei Province.
The school was founded in 1965, and started undergraduate education in 1977. Approved by the former State Education Commission 1994, it was officially listed in the sequence of national colleges and universities and named Yunyang Medical College. 20 10 approved by the Ministry of education, the school was renamed as Hubei medical college, a pilot university of the "excellent doctor education and training plan" of the Ministry of education.

Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, is the first undergraduate college of traditional Chinese medicine in Hubei Province to offer undergraduate education of traditional Chinese medicine and national postgraduate education of traditional Chinese medicine. The school is an excellent school with qualified evaluation of undergraduate teaching level by the Ministry of Education, a university founded by Hubei Provincial People's Government and state administration of traditional chinese medicine, and selected as one of the "National First-class Discipline Construction Universities" in Hubei Province.
The school's predecessor was Hubei Chinese Medicine School, which was established in 1954. In 2003, the former Hubei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine merged with the former Hubei Institute of Drug Control to form a new Hubei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which was renamed Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in March 20 10.

The Institute of Science and Technology of Hubei University for Nationalities was established with the approval of Hubei Provincial People's Government in 2003 and officially approved by the Ministry of Education in 2004.
The college now has seven secondary colleges, including Medical College, school of economics and management, School of Architecture and Design, School of Culture and Media, School of Music and Physical Education, School of Electromechanical and Information Engineering and College of Preparatory Education.
At present, there are 40 undergraduate courses, with a major of 10, undergraduate ethnic classes and preparatory classes for ethnic minorities, covering eight disciplines of literature, science, engineering, agriculture, forestry, medicine, arts and management, and enrolling students nationwide.
