He used to be a faculty member of the History and Culture Department of Sichuan University, a faculty member of the Archaeological Department, a foreigner researcher of the Literature Research Department of Waseda University, and a visiting full-time faculty member of the Literature Department of Waseda University.
1980 ——1984, majoring in archaeology, History Department, Sichuan University;
1984 ——1987, master's degree in ancient philology from the Department of History, studied under Xu Zhongshu;
1July, 1989, taught in the History and Culture Department of Sichuan University;
1990, transferred to the archaeological teaching and research section as a lecturer;
/kloc-0 was enrolled by waseda university in Japan at the end of 1992, where he conducted a special study on the history of oriental art and studied for a doctorate in literature.
1998- He has been teaching at the Art College of Sichuan University, and is also a visiting professor at the Institute of Yangtze River Valley Culture of Waseda University.
Committed to the special research centered on East Asian art archaeology, involving the research work in the fields of Buddhist art history in China, history and culture in southwest ethnic areas of China, cultural relics and art history.
In recent ten years, it has mainly carried out and completed the field investigation and comprehensive research tasks centered on southwest China, and has rich field investigation experience and comprehensive research ability of art history and national cultural heritage. The research results fully reflect the academic characteristics of field investigation as the center, art history and archaeology, ethnology, folklore and other disciplines.
