First, undergraduate course
Students applying for UofC undergraduate course can be senior three students in China, or students who have graduated from senior three, and have been educated in China for at least 12 years. Students who have not finished high school can only apply after finishing high school in Canada, but they also need to provide A-LENEL certificate. There are also requirements for students' high school grades. Students need to get a GPA of 75 or above in high school, and UofC's undergraduate application also requires students to provide college entrance examination results. Students who apply for UofC for undergraduate studies should have a PBT score of 560 or above, an IBT score of 86 or above, a TWE score of at least 5.0, or an IELTS score of 6.5 or above, and a single subject score of not less than 6.0. Students who do not meet UofC's requirements for undergraduate language learning can attend EAP courses for 6-9 months as long as the applicant's IELTS score reaches 5.5. If students get more than 85% of the total GPA in high school, they can apply for a scholarship from UofC. Second, graduate students.
Students applying for UofC postgraduate courses must graduate from undergraduate courses (at least four years of study) and obtain a degree certificate. The average GPA of undergraduate applicants is required to be above 85. If you graduated from a key domestic undergraduate school, you must have a score of 85 or above, and it is best to have work experience related to the major you are applying for. Students who apply for UofC postgraduate courses can apply for PBT above 550 or IELTS above 7.0. If you apply for UofC's education major, you still attach great importance to students' IELTS scores. Students are required to have a minimum score of 80 for MELAB and 59 for PTE. They can also apply for English training in UofC and pass the exam. For students who want to apply for UofC's business administration major, it is recommended to take GMAT, and for students who apply for UofC's science and technology major, it is recommended to take GRE. Generally, graduate students of UofC start school in May/June/September, and the application deadline of UofC is April 1, April 29th and September 30th every year.
