Jiangnan University was formed by the merger of Wuxi Institute of Light Industry, Jiangnan College and Wuxi Institute of Education. It is a key university directly under the Ministry of Education and under the national "2 1 1" project. Lihu Campus of Jiangnan University is located in the west of Qingqi Road, south of Gaolang Road, north of Lihong Road and east of Changguangxi. It is about 12km away from Wan Qingshan Campus. Qingqi Road, an urban expressway, can reach the urban area and Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, and the traffic is very convenient.
