How to teach literature class?
How to take a literature class? Attending the International Symposium on Literature Teaching in Chinese Curriculum Reform/Report of No.1 Middle School in Baicheng City, Jilin Province/Yin Zhongxiang's International Symposium on Literature Teaching in Chinese Curriculum Reform was held in Beijing Normal University on June 17- 18, 2006, which was jointly sponsored by the College of Arts of Beijing Normal University, the Chinese Teaching Professional Committee of China Education Society, the Chinese Education Research Center of the School of Education of Hong Kong University and the Singapore Chinese Teachers Association. The author participated in this grand meeting with the team organized by the Provincial High School Chinese Education Committee, listened to the reports of famous experts at home and abroad, introduced the experiences of various countries and places, observed the observation class "Farewell to Cambridge" by Cheng Xiang, a teacher attached to Beijing Normal University, and the on-the-spot comments by Professor Su Likang, and participated in the group special exchange, which gained a lot of information and benefited a lot, especially on how to take literature classes and even Chinese classes. Recently, I participated in a high school Chinese teaching and research activity organized by the city and listened to seven Chinese classes in seven schools. "What to say in Chinese class" left a deep impression on me. It is still an important topic that we have to pay attention to all the time. To this end, the author reviews the relevant contents of the meeting and completes this report, hoping to benefit readers. 1. Gu Mingyuan: At the opening ceremony, Chen Jinming, head of the four major organizers, delivered a speech. Among them, Mr. Yang, a member of the Singapore Parliament, said that 78% of bilingual education in Singapore is Chinese, and the model of "teaching less and learning more" is implemented. Professor Xie Xijin of Hong Kong Institute of Education compared the situation of Chinese teaching at home and abroad. He said that he read a lot abroad, and this is local teaching. We teach one by one, but we read less and are unhappy. We teach word by word. They teach students how to read and study. Professor Gu Mingyuan of China Education Society said that Chinese teaching has always been the focus of discussion and the main course. Chinese is a communication tool. Contemporary communication; Communicate with the ancients and rely on literature teaching. Chinese is not only a tool for inheriting culture, an important channel for literature, but also an aesthetic and emotional education. I don't agree to focus on composition, but on reading. Some can be understood, but they can't be said. Grammar is something after the founding of the people's Republic of China, and it is to learn from the west. "I am familiar with 300 Tang poems, and I can recite them without memorizing them." Is it good or bad to say so much grammar? The combination of form, sound and meaning is a studious side. Mathematics and physics are regular. Literature. What? How much do you study ancient Chinese and modern Chinese? Chinese teaching is a science, so we should study the law. Art again, to infect students. 2. Wang Furen: Teacher subjectivity should not be presided over by Professor Zhang. Professor Wang Furen, Professor of the College of Literature of Beijing Normal University and President of China Modern Literature Research Association, gave a report on Literature and Chinese Teaching. He said that Chinese teaching has three subjectivity, namely, the subjectivity of students, the subjectivity of teachers and the subjectivity of authors. This time, I will talk about teachers' subjectivity in teaching. He said that if students' subjectivity is emphasized unilaterally, it will lead to many problems. I listened to "A Mountain of Yugong", and some students said that Yugong was wrong and should go out or solve it by high-tech means. Therefore, Yu Gong is not worth learning. If you stay at such a student-centered level, you will fail. This is Zhisou's point of view! There must be insurmountable difficulties in life, and we must not lose the spirit of ignorance. Teachers cannot be slaves to students, and the loss of teachers' subjectivity is a failure. Confucius era was a free education, and both teachers and students had subjectivity. There are two factors. Confucius is a man of growth and development. "Never tire of learning and never tire of teaching" is the embodiment of subjectivity and education. Socrates was the first educator in the West and Confucius was the first educator in the East. In ancient times, the initial educational factors had the subjectivity of teachers. Later, China gradually lost. In the Han Dynasty, the national educational goal overwhelmed personal thoughts. Confucius trained people as a person, an individual and a person needed by society, not a person needed by a country. Yan Yuan was neither an official nor a rich man, but Confucius liked him and cultivated people with thoughts and morality. No matter from the perspective of students, countries or parents, teachers can't just be a tool. The "teacher" in Heaven and Earth is the last one. All the struggles after 1949 are aimed at subverting the status of teachers. This is the integrity of the cause and the need to develop education. There is no way to subvert the subjectivity of the state in education, which is the need of management. We can't go back to the Confucius era, and we also need the support of the state economically. In this case, institutions and principals are not elected by teachers. Under the existing conditions, to re-establish the teacher's dominant position, we must first focus on classroom teaching, and other aspects can be ignored. But in class, teachers don't know what to say and how to say it, so they lose their subjectivity and are completely finished. Confucius said, "You are wise above and foolish below." Yao Shunyu was uneducated, and Einstein was uneducated. Born to know, learned to know ... stubborn but not knowledgeable. Underachievers want to help; I don't want to go in. I can't help it. If we regain the dominant position, there will be no contradiction with the state, because textbooks are the embodiment of the will of the state. In the process of teaching, we should be integrated with students, and walk into literary works and aesthetic realm with students. Besides, Lu Xun has no contradiction with the will of the country. Subjectivity is important. How can you think of Marx when reading A Dream of Red Mansions? Speaking of "One Hundred Poems of Li Bai Fighting for Wine", it is impossible to think of drinking. People who drink are not trained to talk about Li Bai. Teaching is to cultivate students, not to show them. It is necessary for teachers to establish subjectivity. Facing the concrete students in front of us, any text should be told to the students in a concrete form, and there must be experimental exploration. Teaching methods can be adjusted and changed, not with president, but with the specific situation of the classroom. It is ok to design teaching and arrange class hours according to your hobbies. This is reform, and everyone's subjectivity should be brought into play. Teachers in every era will face the strong pressure of the country and may lose their subjectivity, but if they play their role, they can improve their subjectivity. The aforementioned example of Yugong Yishan illustrates this loss of subjectivity. The era environment in which Lu Xun lived was not a good environment. Some people say that erotic poems in Tang Dynasty. Not to mention them, you can leave a deep impression after reading them. Actually, this is "talking". If you are not good at reading, you will "fill". "Full house irrigation" is also a saying. It depends on whether students like it or not. If they like it, they will have to change the "law" if they don't like it. This is the basic strategy. If you don't feel the taste of the work yourself, you can't say it well. Teaching strategies must be decided by oneself. I only remember the speech in class and forget everything else. One of my teachers said, "If people are only 30 years old, they won't be Du Like Fu." . 3. Debate: Is language equal to literature? Dr. Ke Siren, Deputy Director of Chinese Department of School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, gave a report entitled "Challenges and Strategies of Modern Literature Teaching in Singapore". He said that literature reflects reality like a mirror. Can mirrors fully reflect reality? As he showed the slide show, he said, look, this is reflected by the mirror upstairs, this is the scenery reflected by the lake, and the reality reflected by the rearview mirror of the car is distorted, which shows that literature is not equal to reality, and the mirror is just a medium. To understand the world inside and outside literature, we must first understand that literature is also a medium. What do you think of literature? It is to analyze the media and understand its particularity. If ideology is dominant, only the spirit of the times is put on the text and writers, forming a model rather than an analytical method. Close reading of text is the first step of literary analysis. It is important to teach students to read literary works. It is inconceivable that some teachers can give lectures without reading literary works themselves. As his humorous prologue, Gong Pengcheng, the president of Taiwan Province China Historical Literature Society and the founding president of South China University in Taiwan Province Province, introduced the literature teaching in the curriculum reform of basic education in Taiwan Province Province. "I may be confused because we are confused." He said that the birth rate in Taiwan Province Province is declining, and there is a phenomenon of "more schools and fewer students". The reason is that girls don't want to get married, and a quarter of boys don't. Some marry foreign brides, and their children's mother tongue is not Chinese, so they need training and study. There is a big gap between urban and rural areas in Taiwan Province Province. Most people marry foreign brides in rural areas, but education reform is only suitable for Taipei and Kaohsiung. The political environment is "de-China". Languages include English, Hakka and minority languages, and the teaching hours have been greatly reduced. After middle school, a large number of composition cram schools appeared. As the saying goes, "Don't lose at the starting point". In fact, life never depends on the starting point, but on the end. Professor Zheng from the College of Arts of Beijing Normal University reports on the progress and challenges of literature teaching in Chinese mainland's curriculum reform. He introduced the background of the rise of literature teaching in primary and secondary schools, and mentioned the problem of distinguishing real works from fictional works. He said that the text of "A Mountain of Yugong" is fictional and cannot be treated as a realistic work. When introducing the theoretical debate, he mentioned the relationship between Chinese teaching and literature teaching. He said, is Chinese equal to literature? Is learning Chinese through literature or literature? We should advocate the method of "reading many famous articles" in teaching. Group discussion The first group meeting, the teacher spoke enthusiastically. Teacher Chen Zhiquan introduced the curriculum standard of China literature in middle schools. He said that in their school, literature classes and Chinese classes are separated. Li Anquan, a teacher from Chongqing, talked about text interpretation and teaching strategies. He said that drama is different from drama literature. Instead of teaching, we should guide students to "reread" the text. Zhao Xinxian, Yang Changyi and other teachers in Chongqing said that the improvement of teachers' own literary literacy is the key. Can literature teaching become an independent teaching form? Writing teaching is a big problem. The writing weight in the college entrance examination paper is still only 60 points, but the examination center still stays on "inaction". What is the biggest flaw in Chinese teaching? It involves writing. Writing is a spiritual dialogue. How much energy do we have to pay attention to students' writing? Professor Cai Ming from Henan Institute of Education said, What is Chinese teaching? What's the goal? Teach what? How to teach? What is the real reason for the loss of literature teaching? Is it a question of "who is the subject"? What is literature education? Hu Shi said that "literature in a national language is literature in a national language". There are many examples now. Why can only literary works be used in language training? In the 1960s, some people in China suggested "Don't teach Chinese as a literature class". Zhang Weizhong, a Shandong researcher, mentioned in his speech that an "editor" should be added to the three disciplines. I studied classical literature instead of modern literature. I read poetry and learn languages. At the conclusion meeting, Shi, vice chairman of the National Chinese Association, introduced the discussion in the second group, and said that the Singapore Ministry of Education included Jin Yong's martial arts novels in the teaching materials in order to arouse students' interest in learning Chinese. He also introduced the speech by Sun Liquan, a teacher from high school attached to northeast normal university. Teacher Zhang Yuxin, a researcher of Jilin Institute of Education, also spoke at the conference. According to international convention, this meeting is compact and efficient. Although the content is rich and precious, I'm afraid I can't report it in detail due to space limitations.
