1: Reading can increase the quality and depth of conversation.
Knowledge is like breathing. Only by breathing in and out can we see people's temperament and self-restraint. Worst of all, it will scare people who don't read at all. Getting a certain degree of superiority, a certain degree of superiority is a way to build self-confidence, which is the most obvious effect of reading. It is also the purpose that quite a few people want to learn.
Reading can transform and change one's mind.
For people with the same experience and intelligence, the biggest difference between those who study and those who don't study is that those who study have a broader view of three things than those who don't study. Views on the same thing can often touch the essence through appearances and be good at summing up. When you are in a relatively closed environment such as family, school or even factory, you don't have enough ways to feel the complexity of this society and the impetuousness of human nature, but a novel with realistic themes can break this imprisonment. And when you have really experienced many things in your life, you will ruminate on the ideas in the books you have read, and then you will be more enlightened.
Reading can cultivate a person's accomplishment.
There are many people around me. Everyone wants to spend an hour or two reading some famous books every day to enrich their thoughts and save themselves from worldly shallowness, but few people can really do it. Most people have no patience to finish reading a book full of thoughts. Frankly speaking, most books full of thoughts, whether they are novels like A Dream of Red Mansions, One Hundred Years of Solitude or Ethics of Freedom, are far less enjoyable than reading a fashion magazine or online novels by third-rate writers.
It is always harmless for young college students to read more books. Cultivate one's morality, cultivate one's mind and cultivate one's nature. I hope everyone will study hard.
