Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, referred to as "Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University", is located in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province. It is a provincial-level key university with the advantages of agriculture and forestry and the coordinated development of science, engineering, economics, management, literature, law, art and sea.
The school is jointly established by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the State Forestry and Grassland Bureau and the Fujian Provincial People's Government. It is a first-class university in Fujian Province and one of the three key high-level universities in Fujian Province. It has successively been selected into the national "11plan", "20 1 1 plan", the featured key discipline project, the outstanding agricultural and forestry talents education and training plan, and the national postgraduate project of building a high-level university.
It has also been selected as a scholarship institution for receiving overseas students from China government, a new engineering research and practice project, a new agricultural research and reform practice project, a national college student innovation and entrepreneurship training program, an international scientific and technological cooperation base, a national innovative talent training demonstration base, a national ecological civilization education base, and a national university with typical experience in innovation and entrepreneurship.
It is a member university of National Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, China-Latin America Agricultural Education Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, "Belt and Road" South-South Cooperation Agricultural Education Science and Technology Innovation Alliance and China Mushroom Technology Invention University.
School history
Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University was established on the basis of Fujian Christian University Agricultural Science and Fujian Agricultural College 1936. 1952 The former Agricultural College of Xiamen University and the Agricultural College of Fuzhou University merged to form Fujian Agricultural College. From June 5438 to October 2000 10, the former Fujian Agricultural University merged with the former Fujian Forestry College to form a new Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University.
