In the latest alumni association ranking of China University's ecology major (research-oriented) in 2022, Sun Yat-sen University and Peking University were rated as seven-star majors in China (7★), ranking among the world-renowned high-level majors and top majors in China. Zhejiang University, Fudan University, South China Agricultural University, East China Normal University, Lanzhou University and Yunnan University won six-star majors in China in 2022 (6★), and advanced into the ranks of world-class majors and top majors in China. Xiamen University, Nanjing Forestry University, Nanjing University, Tibet University and China Agricultural University won five-star majors in China in 2022 (5★), ranking among the world-renowned majors and the first-class majors in China.

In the latest alumni association ranking of ecology major (applied major) of China University in 2022, Hainan Tropical Ocean University won the six-star applied major in China in 2022 (6★) and was promoted to the top applied major in China. Guizhou Institute of Engineering and Applied Technology won the national five-star applied major (5★) in 2022 and was promoted to the national first-class applied major.
