Tongji University's architecture is a national double-class construction discipline, and the three interrelated disciplines (architecture, urban and rural planning, landscape architecture) where the School of Architecture and Urban Planning is located have achieved double-class, which is very conducive to inter-disciplinary exchanges. In the latest round of architectural evaluation, Tongji ranked third after Tsinghua and Southeast University. In addition, college of architecture and urban planning ranked 12 in the QS World Architecture Ranking in 2023.
