How does CFA correct test papers?
For multiple-choice questions, marking is generally done by machines. In order to ensure the fairness and justice of marking, CFA Institute has adopted multiple monitoring procedures. Once there is "difficulty" in machine marking, there will be manual intervention, including checking whether the answer sheet is damaged and whether the students fill in it in a standardized way. Moreover, there is an independent review process for marking papers, that is, 5% test paper samples are randomly selected for independent review.
