Today's Zhangjiagang Campus of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology is a school, which belonged to two schools before 20 18. Zhangjiagang Campus of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology is affiliated to Jiangsu University of Science and Technology and is a public institution.

Zhangjiagang Campus of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology is located at the shore of Shazhou Lake in Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province, a national civilized city. It is a key construction university in Jiangsu Province, an excellent undergraduate teaching evaluation school of the Ministry of Education, and an excellent engineer education and training plan of the Ministry of Education. It is a characteristic university with coordinated development of industry, management, agriculture, literature, science, economics and teaching.

In 2005, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology and Zhangjiagang Municipal People's Government jointly established Zhangjiagang Campus to expand the school space. The public campus approved by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government is an important part of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology.

According to the school official website in February 20021year, the campus covers an area of 856 mu. An "ecological, garden-like and digital" modern campus creates good conditions for students to further increase their knowledge.

At present, there are six teaching units: School of Ship and Architecture Engineering, School of Electromechanical and Power Engineering, School of Electrical and Information Engineering, School of Business, School of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, and School of Education, as well as research institutions such as Zhangjiagang Jiangsu University of Science and Technology Industrial Technology Research Institute, Smart Power Research Institute and China-Canada Asia-Pacific Economic Research Institute.

Metallurgical engineering has 1 master major and 8 undergraduate majors. There are nearly 100 graduate students and more than 2,200 undergraduates.
