It is recognized that graduate students majoring in education from the University of Macau graduated from Chengdu. Because Macao has returned to the motherland, the university diploma and the mainland are interlinked, and both recognize academic qualifications and are managed by the Ministry of Education. The Graduate School of the University of Macau is a subordinate institution of the University of Macau. The University of Macau, formerly known as the University of East Asia, was founded on March 28th, 198 1, and was renamed the University of Macau. The Graduate School of the University of Macau is the main department of graduate education management in the University of Macau. It cooperates closely with various academic units of the University of Macau, offering more than 80 postgraduate courses, covering business administration, education, law, social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, science and technology, health sciences and traditional Chinese medicine.
