Vocational high schools can take counterpart entrance examination, which is simpler than ordinary college entrance examination. However, the nursing specialty itself is limited, and there are not many schools to choose from, usually two medical schools.
Shanxi Vocational College of Medicine
Located in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, it is a first-class higher vocational and technical college of pharmacy with the approval of Shanxi Provincial People's Government and the record of the Ministry of Education. Shanxi Chinese Herbal Medicine School, a technical secondary school, was established in 1965. In April of 20001year, the higher vocational college was upgraded to Shanxi Vocational College of Biological Application, and in February of 201year, it was renamed Shanxi Vocational College of Medicine.
