● Mechanical engineering and automation

Mechanical engineering and its automation is a multi-disciplinary and technical compound specialty. Based on the integration of mechanical engineering, automatic control and information technology, this major focuses on electromechanical integration, modern design technology, digital manufacturing, material engineering and enterprise management, and mainly cultivates senior engineering and technical talents with broad theoretical basis and strong engineering practice ability, who can engage in the design, manufacturing, development and research of mechanical engineering and other fields, as well as senior compound talents engaged in management, marketing and service.

During school, students mainly study the basic knowledge of mathematics and physics, English, computer and mechanical engineering, and the basic theoretical knowledge of automation in the early stage, focusing on one of them, such as mechatronics, modern design technology, digital manufacturing and so on. After graduation, I can engage in engineering technology development and research, as well as management, sales, service and teaching in manufacturing departments such as machinery, electronics and communication, scientific research institutes, schools and government departments.

It has two key disciplines in Zhejiang Province: mechatronics and advanced manufacturing technology.

● Process equipment and control engineering

Process equipment and control engineering is a multi-disciplinary technical compound specialty with strong adaptability and wide knowledge. This major trains senior engineering management talents who have knowledge of mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, power engineering, control engineering and management engineering, can engage in the design, manufacture, development and management and scientific research of petroleum, chemical engineering, energy, electric power, environmental protection, medicine, food, refrigeration and air conditioning, labor safety and quality and technology management, and have strong engineering practice ability and engineering innovation consciousness.

At school, students mainly study basic courses such as basic mathematics and physics, English, process equipment design, chemical engineering, control and computer technology and application. After that, they choose tutors according to their own wishes and academic achievements, study professional courses and related practical links under the guidance of tutors, and receive basic training in engineering design, engineering science and technology, measurement and control skills, focusing on one of the aspects of process equipment design and management, fluid machinery and engineering, thermal power engineering and so on. After graduation, I can engage in engineering design, management, scientific research and teaching in large or extra-large enterprises and institutions, equipment manufacturing departments, scientific research institutes and government departments.

● Measurement and control technologies and instruments

Measurement and control technology and instrument is a compound specialty combining computer technology and instrument. The study content of this major includes the basic theory, applied technology and corresponding practical links in the fields of electronic information, computer science, control engineering and mechanical engineering. It mainly trains senior engineering and technical personnel and management personnel engaged in the research, development, design and manufacture of industrial process detection and control, information processing, intelligent instrument design, microcomputer measurement and control, mechatronics and so on.

At school, students mainly study basic mathematics and physics, English, automatic control theory, circuit principle, electronic technology, computer application technology, detection and sensor technology, signal processing, mechanical design, photoelectric detection technology and other basic theoretical knowledge. Later, I choose a tutor according to my own wishes and academic achievements, and study a series of professional courses and related practical links such as design and application of measurement and control system and modern instrument design under the guidance of the tutor. Graduates can engage in engineering technology development and research, management, teaching, sales and service in enterprises, research institutes, quality supervision institutions and institutions of higher learning in industries such as industrial control, instrumentation, information, electronics, communication and environmental protection.

● Industrial engineering

Industrial engineering is an interdisciplinary specialty of engineering technology and management. The study contents of this major include mathematics foundation, English, computer foundation, mechanical engineering foundation and management, facility planning and logistics analysis, basic industrial engineering, ergonomics, production planning and control, lean production, human resource management and other series of courses and corresponding practical links. It mainly trains modern senior technical management talents who have a strong engineering knowledge base and can comprehensively use the methods and technologies of natural science, social science and modern management science to plan, design, evaluate and innovate the integrated system composed of personnel, materials, equipment, energy and information.

Graduates can engage in comprehensive technical work, production organization and management, teaching and scientific research in the planning, design, evaluation and improvement of production systems in enterprises, research institutes and government departments.

● Vehicle engineering

Vehicle engineering is a compound specialty with machinery as the core and crossing with electronics. The study contents of this major include mechanical design foundation, mechanical manufacturing technology, automobile theory, automobile structure and design, automobile engine, electronic technology foundation, automatic control theory, automobile electronic technology and so on. It is mainly committed to cultivating senior engineering and technical personnel with coordinated development of knowledge, ability and quality, rich theoretical foundation of vehicle engineering and strong engineering practice ability, who can engage in design, manufacture, test, development and research in vehicle engineering and other fields, and engage in management work.
