Introduction to Beijing Foreign Studies University Beijing Foreign Studies University is located in North West Third Ring Road, Haidian District, Beijing, with two campuses on both sides of the Third Ring Road. It is the first batch of "2 1 1 engineering" universities, "985" dominant discipline innovation platform universities and the first batch of first-class discipline construction universities directly under the Ministry of Education.
The school is the first foreign language college founded by China * * * Production Party. Its predecessor was the Russian Brigade of the Third Branch of China Anti-Japanese Military and Political University, which was founded in 194 1 Yan 'an. Later, it developed into Yan 'an Foreign Language School, under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee. After the founding of New China, the school was led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 1954 was renamed Beijing foreign studies institute, 1959 merged with Beijing Russian institute to form a new Beijing foreign studies institute. 1980 was directly under the leadership of the Ministry of Education, and 1994 was officially renamed Beijing Foreign Studies University.
The school has opened 10 1 foreign language. At present, the European language family and the Asian-African language family are the largest non-universal language construction bases in China and the first batch of characteristic specialty construction sites of the Ministry of Education. The school has formed a pattern with foreign languages and literature as the main body and the coordinated development of literature, law, economics and management.
