Laval campus covers an area of 1.2 hectares, and there are more than 30 pavilions in the campus, which are connected by an underground passage with a total length of 10km. 1989, Laval University moved the School of Architecture to the Quebec Research Institute in Old Quebec. 1994, the School of Image Arts moved to La Fabrique Building in downtown Quebec.

Entrepreneurial Laval Inc was founded in Laval University 1993, initiated by undergraduates, graduate students' associations and professors of management departments.
