1, Xiamen University

Xiamen University was founded by Mr. Chen Jiageng, a patriotic overseas Chinese leader. It is the first university founded by overseas Chinese in the history of modern education in China, and one of the earliest universities in China to recruit graduate students. Xiamen University Malaysian Branch was established. It became the first university in China to build an independent campus overseas, and its early buildings were selected as the national key cultural relics protection units and the "first batch of 20th century architectural heritages in China", which was praised as "the strongest university in the South" and "the most beautiful university in China".

2. Huaqiao University

Huaqiao University is headquartered in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, directly under the leadership of the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee. This is a university directly under the central government approved by Premier Zhou Enlai personally. It is a comprehensive university jointly established by the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee, the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Fujian Province, and has been designated as a "national key university" by the Central Committee.

Xiamen Institute of Technology, located in Xiamen City, Fujian Province, is a key construction university in Fujian Province, a first-class application-oriented construction university in Fujian Province (Class A), an outstanding engineer education and training program of the Ministry of Education, a national demonstration university for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, a typical experience university for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in China, a training institution entrusted by the China government scholarship, the 13th Five-Year Development and Reform Commission of the Ministry of Education, and a national application-oriented undergraduate development project.
