Changsha University Art Major Admissions Guide

(1) Art majors in our school include fine arts majors (environmental design, visual communication design, costume design, animation), musicology, broadcasting and hosting, radio and television editing and directing, etc.

(2) Our school independently organizes candidates from the provinces where the art professional examinations are held to apply for the corresponding majors in our school. Professional grades are subject to the results of our separate exams. The provinces and majors are: broadcasting and hosting, Shanxi, radio and television director, fine arts, broadcasting and hosting, Fujian, radio and television director, fine arts, broadcasting and hosting, Jiangsu, broadcasting and hosting, Henan, radio and television director, fine arts, Shaanxi fine arts, broadcasting and hosting, Guangxi, radio and television director, fine arts, Zhejiang fine arts, broadcasting and hosting, Gansu.

The cultural score line of the college entrance examination must reach the admission control score line of the same batch of art majors designated by the local provincial admissions department. There is no minimum score limit for single-subject cultural achievements.

In addition to Fujian Province, broadcasting and hosting, radio and television director, musicology and fine arts majors rank in the top 30% in their provincial professional enrollment plan, and our school gives priority to admission. Due to the implementation of the "multi-investment and one file" admission method in Fujian Province, our school does not give priority to admission according to the professional ranking, but according to the comprehensive score ranking.

In addition to the above, other candidates are admitted from high to low according to their comprehensive scores (Musicology and broadcasting and hosting = professional score ×70%+ cultural score ×30%, radio and television director, art = professional score ×60%+ cultural score ×40%). When the total score is the same, those with higher professional scores will be given priority.

(3) Hunan art candidates apply for our school, and their professional scores are subject to the results of the joint examination in Hunan Province. The scores of professional entrance examination and college entrance examination culture must reach the control line of the second batch of admission for art majors at the same time. Our school enrolls students from high scores to low scores according to the sum of the scores of the professional entrance examination and the cultural scores of the college entrance examination. Under the same conditions, those with high scores in the professional entrance examination will be given priority.
