In June 2003, the State Council Academic Degrees Committee approved our college as a master's degree awarding unit. Shaanxi Academic Degrees Committee approved the addition of five disciplines and specialties in our college: computer application technology, communication and information system, signal and information processing, enterprise management and industrial economics. The main research directions of computer application technology specialty are: VLSI system design and computer aided design, broadband IP network voice and video communication technology research in the field of computer network and multimedia communication, embedded network research, image processing and pattern recognition, etc. The main research directions of communication and information system specialty are: optical communication, communication network, mobile communication, integrated optical technology, information photoelectron technology, etc. The main research directions of signal and information processing specialty are: intelligent information processing, information security, quantum information technology, real-time signal processing and its hardware implementation; The main research directions of industrial economics are: organization and management of communication enterprises, industrial organization and industrial policy, network economy and technological innovation, industrial layout and planning of communication enterprises. The main research directions of enterprise management major are: financial management and decision-making, marketing and business planning, e-commerce and modern logistics, enterprise information management, etc. Since 2004, our college has begun to recruit graduate students in the above-mentioned majors.
