1 Huazhong University of Science and Technology Wuchang Branch was established with the approval of the state in August 2000, and was jointly established by Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Wuhan Wei Jun Cultural Communication Group. The school was originally named Wei Jun College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and was renamed Wuchang Branch of Huazhong University of Science and Technology in March of the following year. It was renamed Wuchang Shouyi College in May 20 15.
