Relying on six provincial key disciplines of Shandong University (internal medicine, surgery, otolaryngology, imaging medicine and nuclear medicine, oral clinical medicine, nursing), five provincial key medical and health disciplines (urology, nephrology, neurosurgery, neurology, kidney transplantation), and four key medical and health laboratories of Shandong Province (hematology, medical molecular hepatology, kidney disease, vascular physiology and treatment), Three key laboratories of universities in Shandong Province during the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period (kidney tissue engineering laboratory, medical laboratory for transforming degenerative diseases of nervous system, and digestive system tumor laboratory), and seven research institutes, institutes and centers of Shandong University (Institute of Urology, Institute of Biological Therapy of Blood Tumor, Institute of Tissue Engineering, Institute of Neurology, Institute of Nephrology, Ophthalmology Center and Institute of Human Organ Reconstruction of Shandong University).
