According to official website of Nanchong Municipal People's Government, as of May 9, 2023, there were seven public vocational schools in Nanchong, including Nanchong Foreign Affairs College, Nanchong Technician College and Nanchong Normal School. Nanchong, also known as "Fruit City and Silk Capital", is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, the fifth largest economy in Sichuan, the regional central city of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration, and the political, economic and cultural center of northeast Sichuan.
