As of September 20 14, People's Public Security University of China has carried out close exchanges and cooperation with police agencies in more than 50 countries and regions, including Britain, the United States, France, Germany, Australia, Canada, Turkey and South Korea. It has established long-term and stable inter-school cooperative relations with City University of new york, French National Police Training College, Moscow University of Russian Federation, German Police University, Turkish Police University, Police College of Uzbekistan Ministry of Internal Affairs, Korean National Police University and Vietnamese People's Police College. Foreign police cadets were recruited and trained, and several seminars were held for developing countries in Central Europe, ASEAN and Asia and Africa.

Since 2009, the school has held the International Policing Forum every year, inviting senior police officers and experts from relevant countries and regions to discuss and exchange hot, difficult and key issues in the field of social security, and actively put forward measures and countermeasures to prevent and deal with related issues.
