Nanjing University has done a good job in modern biology research. The Institute of Modern Biology of Nanjing University focuses on original biomedical frontier basic research, encourages and supports pioneering and systematic scientific exploration, and strives to become a world-class biomedical research and innovation center with a number of internationally recognized academic authorities and scholarly research environments. Nanjing University Institute of Modern Biology was established in July 2020. His research interests include (but are not limited to) biological artificial intelligence and computer simulation, cell signal transduction network, stem cells, gene editing, cancer immunity and metabolism, neurodegenerative diseases, infectious diseases and precision medicine. The goal of the Institute of Modern Biology is to cultivate a group of internationally recognized academic authorities in some major research directions/fields of biomedicine and become a world-class biomedical research center.
