Suzhou vocational university is a full-time general higher vocational college sponsored by Suzhou Municipal People's Government, approved by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. It has been selected into the national college students' cultural quality education base, the first batch of Suzhou high-skilled talents training demonstration bases and service outsourcing talents training bases. It is the chairman unit of Southeast Asia Vocational Education Integration Alliance and the Chinese vice-chairman unit of China-South Africa Vocational Education Cooperation Alliance.
