According to official website of Guangdong Education Examinations Institute, in July, 2023, the second plenary session of the seventh session of Guangdong Higher Education Establishment Review Committee passed the application of renaming Zhong Kai Agricultural Engineering University as Zhong Kai Agricultural Engineering University, and the school was successfully renamed. Agricultural Engineering University, called Liao for short, is located in Guangzhou. It is one of the first batch of universities with national excellent agricultural and forestry talents education and training plan, an excellent undergraduate teaching evaluation school of the Ministry of Education, and an international training base for future technical skills and humanities exchange talents.
