Xia Qi's personal experience.
1997 Ph.D., Department of Physics, Nanjing University, 1998-2002 Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Computational Materials Science, Department of Physics, Netherlands and USA. In 2002, he was selected into the Hundred Talents Program of China Academy of Sciences and won the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2008. He is currently a researcher and doctoral supervisor of the Hundred Talents Program of Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2009, he was transferred to Beijing Normal University to teach, and in February, he was appointed as the head of the Physics Department of Beijing Normal University.

In 2002, he was selected into the Hundred Talents Program of China Academy of Sciences and won the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2008.
