Shenyang University of Aeronautics and Astronautics is a multidisciplinary institution of higher learning characterized by aerospace, focusing on engineering, and coordinating the development of engineering, science, literature, economics, management and art. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, AVIC and Liaoning Province, a university jointly established by the National Defense Science and Technology Bureau and Liaoning Province, and a training base for talents (aerospace) lacking in equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning Province. Basically, "national defense" has been built.

Founded in 1952, the school is one of the six undergraduate aviation colleges directly under the former Ministry of Aviation Industry. Formerly known as Shenyang Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, it was renamed Shenyang University of Aeronautics and Astronautics on March 20 10 after the development stages of Northeast No.1 Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Shenyang Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and so on. 20 14 Liaoning Provincial People's Government, Ministry of Education and aviation industry corporation of china established Shen Hang; 20 16 the people's government of Liaoning province and the state bureau of science and technology for national defense decided to continue the construction of Shen Hang during the 13th five-year plan period. On 20 17, China aero-engine group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shen Hang to establish an aero-engine research institute.
