Yantai University currently has 24 first-level disciplines with master's degree authorization, 14 master's degree authorization categories (law, agronomy, translation, pharmacy, journalism and communication, Chinese international education, machinery, materials and chemicals, electronic information, civil water conservancy, biology and medicine, energy and power, resources and environment, and applied statistics).

It covers 9 disciplines, including literature, science, engineering, law, agriculture, medicine, economics, management and teaching. At present, there are more than 3,500 graduate students in each school. Yantai University is expected to recruit about 1.200 graduate students in 2023, including about1.654,38+0 full-time graduate students and about1.654,38 part-time graduate students. The specific enrollment plans of each major will be adjusted according to the online situation this year.

The final enrollment plan and information shall be subject to the enrollment documents officially issued by the Ministry of Education, and the number of students enrolled shall be subject to the number confirmed by the final enrollment system. In 2023, Yantai University plans to cooperate with Northwest Plateau Institute of Biology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Yantai Institute of Coastal Zone of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The Institute of Crop Science of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Beijing Yan Gang Gahona Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and other units have launched a special joint training program for graduate students. The expected chemical code is 070300, chemical engineering code 085602, bioengineering code 083600, biological code 07 1000, agronomy and seed industry code 095 13 1, and marine science code 070700.

Additional test requirements

Candidates who take part in the re-examination with the same academic ability, candidates who apply for multi-majors, fresh graduates of adult education, self-taught candidates and online education candidates who have not obtained the undergraduate diploma at the time of re-examination.

Re-examination should add at least two undergraduate courses related to the applied major. The additional test subjects shall not be the same as the initial test subjects, and the additional test method shall be written test. Students with the same academic ability who apply for law (illegal study) can not take the exam.
