Xi International Studies University is one of the four earliest foreign language colleges established in New China, and it is also the only ordinary university with complete professional foreign languages in Northwest China. 195 1 year, approved by the Ministry of Education of the Central People's Government, was formed by the merger of the Russian Department of Lanzhou University College of Literature, the Russian Department of the Foreign Languages Department of Northwest University and Russian specialized courses, namely the Northwest Russian Institute, the predecessor of Xi International Studies University. 1952 The Russian class of China Northwest Bureau Party School was merged into Northwest Russian College, and began to train foreign language talents at undergraduate level for the country.
